Pizza di scarola - Pizza escarole
Preparare l'impasto con 100 gr. d'acqua, 400 gr. di farina "00", 1 uovo, 150 gr. di burro e sale quanto basta.
Lasciarlo riposare per 10 minuti.
Wash 700 grams of escarole in boiling water and boil for 5 minutes.
Prepare the dough with 100 gr. of water, 400 gr. of "00" flour, 1 egg, 150 gr. butter and salt to taste.
Let stand for 10 minutes.
Mettere in una padella 3 cucchiai d'olio extra vergine d'oliva, 10 gr. di capperi, 20 gr. di olive nere e la scarola. Cuocere al massimo per 5 minuti.
Place in a pan 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, 10 gr. capers, 20 gr. black olives and escarole. Bake at most for 5 minutes.
Imburrare una teglia. Stendere 3/4 dell'impasto e adagiarla dentro. Aggiungere la scarola.
Grease a baking dish. Spread 3/4 of the dough and place it inside. Add the escarole.
Ricoprire con il rimanente impasto.
Cover with the remaining dough.
I
nfornare a 250° per 30 minuti.
Bake at 250 ° for 30 minutes.
Museo degli orologi - Museum of Clocks
Lunedì vi ho parlato di San Marco dei cavoti. Oggi parliamo del suo museo degli orologi.
Il Museo degli Orologi da Torre di San Marco dei Cavoti è nato allo scopo di custodire ed esporre la vasta collezione del maestro orologiaio cavalier Salvatore Ricci, artigiano sammarchese nato nel 1930 e scomparso nel 2013 che - dopo aver svolto vari mestieri si dedicò con passione all'attività di orologiaio riparando pazientemente ogni tipo di quadrante, molla o ingranaggio, di orologi ubicati in vecchi campanili o edifici monumentali, e acquisendone un numero considerevole di esemplari che sarebbero stati altrimenti destinati all'abbandono o alla rottamazione.
Trovatosi a detenere una grande quantità di antichi meccanismi tutti da lui stesso restaurati con pezzi originali, cominciò negli anni Ottanta ad esporne alcuni in varie località d'Italia fin quando trovò il sostegno dell'amministrazione comunale del paese natio nella realizzazione di un vero e proprio museo.
Nel 1997, in una sede provvisoria, fu quindi allestita a San Marco dei Cavoti una mostra permanente denominata Le Nostre Ore e, successivamente, nel 1998, venne ufficialmente costituito il Museo degli Orologi da Torre di San Marco dei Cavoti.
L'impegno di Salvatore Ricci venne intanto premiato nel 2001 con il conferimento dell’onorificenza di Ufficiale dell’Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana.
Infine, dalla sua sede provvisoria, il museo è stato trasferito nel 2004 nei più consoni ed ampi ambienti di Palazzo Cocca, antica dimora gentilizia del XVII secolo ubicata nel centro storico del paese.

Il museo di San Marco dei Cavoti, oltre ad essere l'unico del genere al mondo per tipologia e numero di pezzi esposti, vanta anche il primato di ospitare un orologio di fine Quattrocento che, a seguito di studi specifici è stato unanimemente ritenuto il più antico esemplare al mondo interamente originale, anteriore anche a quello della cattedrale di Salisbury il quale - pur essendo datato 1386 - è stato successivamente riparato più volte e con pezzi spuri.
Il museo, in numerose sale, ospita attualmente circa 55 pezzi, di epoca compresa dal XVII al XX secolo realizzati dai più illustri maestri orologiai di varie regioni d'Italia.
Sono tutti perfettamente funzionanti con meccanismi manuali o elettrici, scappamento a verga o a cheville e con o senza suonerie a campane in bronzo.
Gli esemplari più antichi hanno uno strumento di regolazione detto foliot e composto da un complesso sistema di ruote dentate e palette antecedente alla nascita del pendolo di Galileo (1583). L'esemplare più moderno, invece, è un orologio elettrico del 1983.

The Clock
Museum Tower of San Marco dei Cavoti was born in order to protect and exhibit
the extensive collection of master watchmaker cavalier Salvatore Ricci,
craftsman sammarchese born in 1930 and died in 2013, which - after having held
various jobs he devoted himself with passion to 'activities clockmaker
patiently repairing any type of dial, spring or gear, watch towers located in
old buildings or monuments, and acquiring a considerable number of specimens
that would otherwise have been destined for abandonment or destruction.
Finding
himself in possession of a large amount of ancient mechanisms all by himself
restored with original parts, began in the eighties to expose some in various
locations in Italy until he found the support of the municipal administration
of the native in the creation of a real museum.
In 1997, in a temporary
location, so it was set up in San Marco dei Cavoti a permanent exhibition
called Our hours and, subsequently, in 1998, was officially made the Clock
Museum Tower of San Marco dei Cavoti.
The
commitment of Salvatore Ricci was meanwhile awarded the honor in 2001 with the
award of Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic .
Finally,
from its temporary headquarters, the museum was moved in 2004 in the most
appropriate and extensive environments
Palace Cocca, a former
aristocratic residence of the XVII century building is located in the center of
the country.
The Museum of San Marco dei Cavoti, in addition to
being the only one of its kind in the world to type and number of pieces on
display, it also has the distinction of hosting a clock at the end of the
fifteenth century, as a result of specific studies was unanimously considered
the most oldest specimen in the world entirely original, even to the front of
the cathedral of Salisbury who - despite being dated 1386 - was subsequently

The museum,
