Arcipelago delle Sirenuse - Archipelago Sirenuse

L’arcipelago delle Sirenuse (oggi Li Galli) davanti a Positano, composto da tre isolette solitarie e rocciose, era ritenuto la sede delle mitiche Sirene che attraevano con il loro canto i naviganti facendoli naufragare. Il mito serviva da avviso: non avvicinatevi troppo alle isole che finite sugli scogli! 

E' un aricpelago appartenente al comune di Positano ed è costituito da tre isole: Gallo Lungo, La Rotonda, Dei Briganti a Nord della Rotonda.

Gallo Lungo è la più grande delle tre ed è l'unica ad essere stata abitata fin dai tempi dei Romani.

A ovest di Gallo Lungo si trovano La Rotonda e Dei Briganti a nord della Rotonda, quest'ultima più comunemente viene chiamata La Castelluccia.

The Sirenuse archipelago (now Li Galli) in front of Positano, consisting of three solitary, rocky, was considered the seat of the sirens that attracted sailors with their song making shipwreck. The myth served as a warning: Do not get too close to the islands that ended on the rocks!

It 'sa aricpelago belongs to Positano and consists of three islands, Gallo Lungo, La Rotonda, Dei Briganti north of the Rotunda.

Gallo Lungo is the largest of the three and is the only one to have been inhabited since Roman times.

To the west of Gallo Lungo are La Rotonda and Dei Briganti north of the Rotunda, the latter more commonly called The Castelluccia.
