The origin of the Caves of Perth (whose official name is "Caves of Angel Perth"), is traced back some 35 million years ago, are the most important in the south, only to be crossed by an underground river, the Tanagro or Negro, whose course has been diverted for the purpose of energy use. L'origine delle Grotte di Pertosa (la cui denominazione ufficiale è "Grotte dell'Angelo di Pertosa"), è fatta risalire a ben 35 milioni di anni fa, sono le più importanti dell'Italia del sud, le uniche ad essere attraversate da un fiume so...tterraneo, il Tanagro o Negro, il cui corso è stato deviato a scopo di utilizzo energetico.
